Glove Box Tools

Typically, these tools would be kept in the glove box rather than in the toolkit.

Cars with electric windows came with an emergency window crank.  This could be inserted into the door panel through a hole covered by a plug.  It released the electric motor from the pulley mechanism and allowed raising or lowering of the window in case of a power or motor failure.

The cars were all equipped with a power point under the dash to the left of the steering wheel.  No matching emergency light kit was listed in either the parts book or owner's manual.  However, examples of period light kits that do have the proper plug are shown below.
