Pliers and Screwdrivers

The pliers and screwdrivers are probably the tools that are most often missing in an old Ferrari's toolkit as they are the most useful tools to be used elsewhere.

There are a couple of types of screwdrivers around in older toolkits.  The picture and drawing both show wooden handled screwdrivers and these were probably in the early 330 GT toolkits.  Later, Ferrari changed to a plastic handled model.

According to David, the smaller ones are 60s vintage, so would have been found in early 330 GT toolkits

Both types are available as reproductions.  See the Favorites page for some leads.  There seem to be various lengths and sizes of blades.  The parts manual calls for two straight bladed ones, in lengths of 150mm (6") and 120mm (5") and two Phillips ones, for screw sizes up to 4mm (length unknown) and 5-9mm (5" blade).

You will also see screwdrivers around like those above.  They are from 308 toolkits and have 'Ferrari' on the handle.
