Beta Wrenches

The open end wrenches were made by Beta Tools and are still being made.  However, the molds and finish have changed over the years.

Original Beta 55 Open End Wrench

As you can see, one side has 'CHROM VANADIUM' on one side and 'BETA No 55' on the other.  Note that the size is 12/14mm, not one of the sizes mentioned in the parts manual.

These have 'BETA 55 Italy' on both sides and the finish is somewhat shinier (though that may just be that the originals are now over 30 years old.

A while ago, I imported several sets of 8 wrenches (8/9, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15, 16/17, 18/19, 20/22 and 21/23), kept one set for my toolkit and sold the rest.  Note, I order an extra wrench (14/15) which should have been in the original toolkit as there are nuts and bolts those sizes on my 330 GT.

Set of Eight Beta 55 Wrenches

Beta has recently (2003) changed their molds again.  The current production have a little wrench head symbol cast on them.

The two bag kits delivered with some very late 330 GTs may only have had two open end wrenches.  The sizes are 10/11 and 12/14.  I know of one kit with Beta 55 wrenches while others have contained Karat and Gedore wrenches.
