Owner Number Field
The owner number field is formatted as follows:
If the number does not have a plus (+) sign before it, it is the actual owner number.
If the number does have a plus sign (+) in front of it, it denotes a series of sequential owners, but their actual owner number is unknown. Each series starts with +1. There are an unknown number of owners before the start of each series.
An example:

| B | 2 | Second owner |
| C | +1 | First owner of a series, actual owner number is unknown |
| D | +2 | Second owner of a series |
| E | +1 | First owner of second series, some unknown number of owners in between each series. |
| F | +2 | Second owner of second series |
| G | +3 | Third owner of second series |
So A first purchased the car new. B bought from A. C bought from someone unknown and there may be more than one unknown owner between B and C. D bought from C. E bought from someone unknown and there may be more than one unknown owner between D and E. F bought from E and G bought from F.
